Absences
If you are absent (illness, sports games, family vacation, etc.), you are still responsible for all of the material covered in class.
If you are absent from class, regardless of reason…
1.) it is your responsibility to check the Daily Agenda Post (located in the Weekly HW tab OR on the first of the month Announcement in Google Classroom) to see what assignments you missed and what is due
2.) it is your responsibility to make up missed work and hand in what you owe in a timely fashion
3.) it is your responsibility to collect missed handouts that were placed in basket
4.) it is your responsibility to attend office hours, when you don’t understand something because of absence
The MOST important step to take for missed work is CHECKING THE DAILY POST. From there, you may need to go to Office Hours to get hard copies or direct instruction from Ms. Sanchez.
Go to Office Hours to check Ms. Sanchez's binder or notebook, talk to a classmate (NOT during a lesson), check your Lusher Gmail or Google Classroom for Announcements.
You will be granted a small extension (usually 1-3 days) to make up any missed assignments. See Ms. Sanchez to find out when you will need to complete your missed work.
In the case of a prolonged absence, you may be exempted from some assignments. You will need to talk to Ms. Sanchez about what you need to do to get caught up.
